Bernard Archard dies, aged 91

TV actor Bernard Archard has passed away, aged 91.

The London-born thespian died on May 1, reports The Stage.

His credits included roles in Doctor Who, Upstairs Downstairs, Keeping Up Appearances, The Avengers and Rumpole of the Bailey. He also played Leonard Kempinski in Emmerdale Farm.

Archard's film roles included parts in The Village of the Damned, The Day of the Jackal, Macbeth and The Sea Wolves.
