
In Ty's Big British Adventure, the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition host will be charged with doing his bit to revamp the coastal town of Portreath.
Pennington will work with the local community on funding, redesigning and rebuilding the park within a week. The five-part series will air from the end of August.
Catherine Catton, head of UKTV Style and UKTV Style Gardens, said: "Ty Pennington is a huge hit with our audience, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with him and make such an emotionally powerful show."
Philip Whelan from Twofour, which is making the show, added: "It’s a very exciting challenge to take a huge US celebrity and put him in a British context."
