The first half of a two-parter was watched by 5m, or 21.2% of the viewing audience, from 9pm. The show - in which the Duchess of York dishes out health advice to a regular family - performed better than the 4.2m slot average for the year so far, but was down on the equivalent figure of 5.2m for 2007.
Crime drama Waking The Dead attracted 6.4m (27.4%) in the same slot.
BBC Two inched past the rest of the competition at 9pm, reaching 1.6m (7.1%) with the documentary Class of 62 - From 16 to 60.
Time Team Special: Swords, Skulls and Strongholds interested 1.5m (6.2%) on Channel 4, while on Five another factual offering, Warship, was watched by 1.4m (6%).
