The Vampire Diaries: Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2
It's season finale time on Mystic Falls, and if you're a fan of The Vampire Diaries you do not want to miss this episode. After last week's emotional funeral, Elena and Jeremy are trying to move on - but Damon's werewolf bite isn't getting any better. We won't give away any spoilers, but trust us when we say that there are some game-changing moments for the characters. And the ending will have you begging for the third season, just so you can find out what the hell is going on. A superb end to a fabulous season.

Al Murray's Compete for the Meat: Thursday at 9pm on Dave
If you can't be doing with drama and just want a bit of fun, why not try the Pub Landlord's quiz show? Trust us - it's not a standard question and answer game. Instead, the top prize is a frozen chicken, and Al's ably accompanied by Mr Giblets - a man in a chicken suit. Bizarrely, Zoe Salmon is the glamorous assistant, while the audience taunt losing teams with a 'Thick and Slow' chant. To be honest, Compete for the Meat deserves a mention just for being so weird, but if you're a Murray fan you should have fun. Oh, and there's a Facebook app online if you're interested in winning a frozen chicken yourself.
Doctor Who: Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One
It's depressing to think we're already more than halfway through these initial seven episodes of Doctor Who. This week's instalment is the first of a two-part adventure, in which a solar tsunami sends the Tardis off course to a clone factory on a future Earth. The Doctor is enraged when he learns that humans have begun using their own doppelgangers to mine dangerous acids, but could the 'gangers' be planning a violent uprising? You'll have to tune in to 'The Rebel Flesh' this Saturday to find out!

Louis Theroux: Miami Mega Jail: Sunday at 9pm on BBC Two
Louis's back! In this two-part documentary, everyone's favourite mild-mannered broadcaster takes another trip behind bars and enters the Miami County Jail, a facility big enough to house 3,188 prisoners. Fights often break out within the prison walls, as inmates battle over food and status, while the guards struggle to main control. In the first instalment, Louis explores the large cage-like dwellings on the fifth and sixth floors, where some of the prison's most dangerous convicts reside!
