1. Vanessa Mae hits the slopes for the women's giant slalom.
On BBC Two and the Red Button from 7am
Some people are just so bloody lucky. Vanessa Mae isn't just a super talented violin sensation. She's also an Olympic skier. The musician will be taking on the giant slalom for Thailand today and she'll help generate extra interest in the event, but isn't expected to go home with a medal.

2. Paula Walker and Bex Wilson in the bobsleigh.
On BBC Two and the Red Button from 3.15pm
We're still keeping all our fingers crossed for another Team GB medal and although Paula Walker and Bex Wilson aren't among the favourites, we've watched Cool Runnings enough times to understand that anything can happen in the bobsleigh. We're keeping the faith.

3. Elise Christie is GB's hope in the short track
On BBC Two and the Red Button from 9.30am
The 23-year-old Scot has been billed as "Britain's best short track hope" by the BBC, and who are we to question it? It's the heats in the 1,000m today, and Elise will be hoping to make the cut for Friday's final rounds.
