Music For You is a brand-new music entertainment programme for ITV, presented by DENIS NORDEN and featuring top music acts performing classic and easy-listening music with a twist - from TV star JANE HORROCKS to acclaimed baritone BRYN TERFL. Also, NICOLA KIRSCH - winner of the Stars In Their Eyes Live Final - and the casts of stage smash hits Car Man and The Witches Of Eastwick.
Some of our most popular performers will move away from the styles they're best known for and classic tunes will be given a twist by stars old and new.
Actress JANE HORROCKS amazed and delighted audiences in the stage and hit film, Little Voice; on Music For You she'll be singing from her new album, demonstrating her incredibly versatile voice. BRYN TERFL, the bass baritone better known for his virtuoso performances in opera, will perform classic Welsh tunes with the WELSH MALE VOICE CHOIR. Stars In Their Eyes winner NICOLA KIRSCH, who stormed the final with her impression of Maria Callas, will perform the number which wowed viewers. Other performers include classical artists RUSSELL WATSON and FILIPPA GIORDANO, and the casts of West End musicals The Witches Of Eastwick and Car Man.
Veteran presenter DENIS NORDEN (It'll Be Alright On The Night, Laughter File) introduces famous faces and rising music stars, and a 19-piece orchestra provides the accompaniment to this glossy ITV special.
