Scrubs continues on Sky One with more bizarre experiences for fresh-faced medical intern JD . JD is involved in more unpredictable situations whilst trying to embark on his healing career, as he is lodged in a surreal hospital full of slightly unhinged patients and even more unhinged staff. A college buddy, a surgical group, a beautiful 'fellow' intern and a group of fatherly and jaded docs join the rollercoaster ride.
Elliott, Turk and JD have a presentation to make at a medical conference, but all does not go to plan when their parents pay a visit for the spectacle - or at least it doesn't go to plan when JD's father shows up (played by guest star John Ritter). He is crude and lewd, leaving all three interns in a state of emotional distress and proving to JD that there is a fine line between humour and tragedy when you work in a hospital like this.
