Love her or hate her, Psychic Sally Morgan is here to stay. The psychic has built up a cult fanbase with her exuberant presenting style and impressive prediction skills. Digital Spy caught up with Sally earlier this week to find out about her new On The Road series and also got to the bottom of those Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity rumours.

What has the response been like to your On The Road series?
"Oh it's been great. It's been wonderful. This third series has a little twist that I meet celebrities and sit down for lunch with them. It's hopefully going to be just as successful as the other two. One of the biggest differences will be how I look. I've lost 14 stone, so my energy levels are much higher now. There's still lots of reality and there's still lots of celebrity readings."

Has your weight loss improved your mind-reading skills, then?
"It hasn't altered or enhanced the work I do in any way. My brain is still the same size! My brain hasn't lost any weight, thank God! It's only the old bottom that has disappeared. A few kilos have fallen of the arse. A lot of people are scared that weight loss means losing your personality. But I've got news for people. Personality isn't hidden in your fat. People equate being happy and jolly with being chubby, but it's a fallacy."

Which celebrities will you have on the show?
"Well we have Alesha Dixon, who came over to visit me, and then everyone else we go visit on location. There's the TOWIE couple, Sinitta and lots more. We go see Mary Byrne in Ireland and that was really lovely. Sky have gone to town with this series. They've pushed the boat out, which I'm really pleased with."

Do you not already have lots of info on these celebrities?
"It's the thing people always ask me with these celebrities. But I honestly don't know anything about them. I didn't know anything about Alesha other than she had done the Strictly Come Dancing thing. She's on the panel for that, isn't she? I didn't know any of her songs, which I know sounds awful. A lot are so much younger than me. I still haven't seen The Only Way Is Essex. The only telly I see is Homes Under The Hammer in the morning. Anything from 5pm I don't get a chance to watch."

There are lots of TV mediums out there. Why do you think you've proved so popular?
"I think that it's not rocket science, really. It's visual. Even when I was huge, it wasn't because I was a beautiful blonde, it was my personality. When you look at TV, something has to be visually entertaining. I have always been off the wall. I think that lends itself to television. And I get letters every single day from all over the country. Lots of boys and girls in Afghanistan. It's very moving. They say things like, 'I wish you were my mum'. I think I'm very mumsy. I have that way about me."

Do you have any big ambitions you still want to achieve?
"We are talking and we are in talks. I'd love to go to Vegas. That's really what I want to do. I want to be the psychic Elvis. I want to get out there. Psychic Sally has left the building! Why not? Can you imagine! I'd love to go. I'll have a word with Sky about it. They'll pay for it."

There's always rumours about you doing I'm A Celeb. Any updates on that?
"The only thing with in the jungle is that they always go at the start of December, when I'm really busy and on tour. The big problem is that I don't like rats and mice, though. I think I'd pass out. I'd do a Gillian McKeith! I don't think I could do it. I would freak. I would run out of the jungle. I would leg it. And I could not eat kangaroo testicles. No. Thank. You. You have to give it to Katie Price. She ate that. Fair play to her."

Would you consider doing Big Brother?
"I'd love to do the Big Brother house. Do you know why? Because they don't do anything all day. It would be a big holiday in the Big Brother house. I wouldn't mind doing that, you know, the old Big Brother. I'd probably get voted off first, but I wouldn't mind that. A nice little break. You just sit there and make friends. I've got a weird sense of humour and I'd find it all funny rather than irritating. But they should do a Morgans reality show. Forget The Osbournes, they should do At Home with The Morgans."

That sounds like a hit!
"Yeah, it would be funny. My reality show would be very funny. I think people would be surprised by my shoe cupboard. I have hundreds of pairs! I think people would be surprised by what I do and how I live and what I eat. Maynard's Wine Gums mainly."

Psychic Sally: On The Road airs on Wednesdays at 8pm on Sky Living.
