Kelly's 'Wish You Were Here' report to go ahead
Published Monday, Jan 20 2003, 22:39 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
An appearance on Wish You Were Here by Matthew Kelly is to go ahead as planned, ITV has confirmed.
There was doubt that the network would air the segment -- in which Kelly, 53, reports from Siberia -- following his arrest last week on allegations of child sex abuse. He was subsequently released on police bail and has since strenuously denied the claims.
"No charges have been brought against Matthew and the programme has already been recorded and is in the can," an ITV spokeswoman said today. "I can confirm Matthew Kelly's report will be shown tomorrow night."
