'Robin Hood' spoilers surface

The new series of BBC One's Robin Hood could see the arrow-wielding outlaw defeat the Sheriff of Nottingham.

According to The Sun, Keith Allen is currently filming his death scene in Budapest for the show's third series.

"It will be a huge shock to fans when he comes unstuck," an insider commented.

The source added: "Keith loves playing the Sheriff. The new series is the most grisly yet and he's delighted to be going out of the show with such a huge bang."

Maid Marian was controversially killed off in last year's season two finale.
