Bowman quits RI:SE

Edith Bowman, the only presenter of Channel 4's ailing breakfast TV show RI:SE to survive its recent relaunch, is to leave when her contract expires next month.
Channel 4 said Iain Lee would continue to present the show, which struggles for viewers against GMTV and the BBC's Breakfast. Even the post-relaunch RI:SE, which is closer in format to its more successful Big Breakfast predeccessor, has had limited impact on the ratings.
The show typically meanders along in the ratings between 100,000 and 200,000 viewers, hardly a sterling performance compared to ratings that can be measured in millions on GMTV and BBC One for roughly the same time period.
