Richard and Judy "to sign new C4 deal"

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan look set to stay at Channel 4 for another two years, according to The Sun today.
The newspaper reports that the pair are currently in talks to sign a new 2-year "golden handcuffs" contract worth £2 million. Such a deal would tie the couple exclusively to the channel, meaning appearances on rival networks could be out of the question.
An unnamed source said: "There have been rumours the couple are being wooed back by ITV and Channel 4 do not want to take any chances."
The news comes days after latest figures showed that ratings for the Richard and Judy Show had risen almost 1 million in the past six months.
