C4 warns of 'Boys and Girls' move

Boys and Girls, Chris Evans' latest project for Channel 4, could be moved from its primetime slot on Saturday nights if ratings fail to pick up.
Channel executives have warned UMTV, Evans' independent production company, that it may be shifted to late night Fridays, depending on its performance over the next couple of weeks.
Boys and Girls made a disappointing debut on March 1 with 1.1 million viewers, and although ratings rose last week to a 1.3 million average, the figures were still down on what the channel would hope for on a Saturday evening.
A C4 spokeswoman said it was sticking by the show: "Schedulers are always talking about these things, but there are no immediate plans to move it."
