The actress spoke about the prospect of filming more episodes of her hit BBC Two sketch show during an interview on Graham Norton's chat programme, due to be screened tonight.
She confirmed: "It wouldn't be right now, but I wouldn't rule it out - specials or something with my old lady character Nan."
Tate has recently been starring as Donna Noble in Doctor Who. She will return to the West End later this month with a lead role in David Eldridge's Under The Blue Sky.
Her comedy characters were last seen in a 2007 Christmas special. Mouthy schoolgirl Lauren was killed off in the episode.
