C4 making Lil' Chris chatshow series

The chatshow fronted by popstar Lil' Chris Hardman is being developed as a series by Channel 4.

Seven half-hour editions of Everybody Loves Lil' Chris, centred around the 17-year-old's Winnebago, will be broadcast as part of T4 later this year.

A one-off which aired in April featured celebrity interviews, a performance from Plain White T's and antics such as throwing fish at "weird" beachcombers.

Hardman, who found fame on Channel 4's Rock School, will use the new series to try his hand at a variety of other occupations.
