On day five of the war with Iraq, broadcasters are continuing to amend their schedules to provide viewers with the latest updates.

12.28: BBC One dropped its usual morning programming today in favour of simulcasting BBC News 24; including coverage of Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon's briefing at the MoD. A briefing from US Centcom at 12:30 will be carried live on BBC One and BBC News 24. ITV1's This Morning aired as normal.

12:31: CBBC on BBC One will move to BBC Two for the entire week for consistency.

12:32: BBC One will simulcast BBC News 24 between 15:30 and 18:00 this afternoon. A news bulletin will air at 20:00 on BBC One along with an extended bulletin at 22:00.

12:36: No further changes to the primetime schedule of ITV1 have been announced. An hour-long Lunchtime News will air for the war's duration, as will the Evening News.
