Kate Lawler is to replace Edith Bowman on Channel 4's RI:SE later this month, according to The Sun today.
Kate, who won the third series of Big Brother last summer, has signed a "one-year, six-figure deal" to front the show alongside comedian Iain Lee.
Bowman quit the ailing breakfast show in February as viewing figures dropped to a new low of 100,000.
22-year-old Kate, who will continue with her weekend slot on Capital Radio, said: "I’m really excited. No more late nights for me."
RI:SE producer Justin Gorman said Kate had impressed them in a screen test for the position. "When we tested Kate she came across as she did in Big Brother — natural, smart and full of life."
