Sonia became the fourth contestant kicked off Reborn in the USA last night.

The Liverpudlian singer gained the fewest votes in the week-long UK phone vote, having been put up for the boot against Leee John by the Memphis audience last week.

Sonia follows previous eliminees Dollar, Gina G and Elkie Brooks back to the UK, leaving five acts remaining on the tourbus.

Whilst Sonia was sent home, the remaining contestants went on to perform country songs for a Nashville crowd, who later voted for their favourites.

Coming out on top for the second time in the series was former Go West frontman Peter Cox. He was joined by Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley and kid singer Haydon Eshun.

Left standing was last week's survivor Leee and the only remaining female, Michelle Gayle. The pair will now face the UK vote to determine who stays and who goes.
