McCarthy joins BBC Three's 'News Show'

Ben McCarthy is joining the presenting team on BBC Three's The News Show from April 28, the corporation announced today.
McCarthy said: "I'm delighted to be joining the team which produces such an innovative programme attracting a younger audience to television news and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."
Currently, McCarthy presents the West Midlands edition of BBC One's Inside Out.
Colin Hancock, editor of The News Show, said: "I'm delighted that Ben will be joining the team, bringing his substantial reporting and presenting experience to help us develop the News Show beyond its strong first two months."
