McCall favourite to front 'Blind Date'

Davina McCall has emerged as the bookmakers' favourite to host ITV's revamped Blind Date.

The Big Brother host is 6/1 to take over from Cilla Black on the dating show, which is expected to return in 2009.

A source told The Sun: "There's no reason why she couldn't do Big Brother and Blind Date as well.

"She's been having a long hard think about her career path - getting a new agent and looking at new areas."

Blind Date, which last aired in 2003, is apparently being reworked by Simon Cowell and Talkback Thames.

Other presenters that have been linked to the show include Dermot O'Leary and Ant and Dec.
