Basil Fawlty and David Brent will go head-to-head as part of a new programming strand starting on UK Gold next month.

The 'Battle Of...' event will see two programmes aired alternately from 9pm over the course of a weekend.

The strand will begin on May 10/11, where Battle Of... The Monstrous Bosses will feature The Office and Fawlty Towers.

Viewers will be able to vote for the worst boss, Brent or Fawlty, by pressing red and going interactive.

Other themes planned include Battle Of... Idiots and Battle Of... Downtrodden Husbands.
