ITV nods second 'William and Mary'

ITV comedy drama William and Mary has been given the go-ahead for a second series, it has been confirmed today.
The news comes after early ratings figures show an average of 9.1 million viewers -- a 37.9% share of the audience -- watched last night's finale. The series has managed an impressively high 8.1 million average across its six-episode run.
BBC One's Airport USA managed barely half the figure in the timeslot with 5.3 million viewers, a 22.1% share.
