Tony Hadley wins 'Reborn in the USA'

Following Peter Cox's shock exit from Reborn in the USA last week, the outcome of the live final was effectively set in stone.
Three pitch-perfect performances ensured victory for Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley, putting ex-EastEnder Michelle Gayle into a respectable second place.
"I've got to sing again now," Hadley said after finding out he'd won. "We've all had a fantastic time and made great friendships. It's been a laugh."
He now plans a full UK tour including a London date with Cox on July 30, and is releasing a greatest hits album, 'Gold'.
Whilst Hadley's career may well now be reignited, the future of the show itself looks pretty bleak. With an average audience of just 3.3 million viewers for the final, it's unlikely we'll see it reborn.
