Dick and Dom in da Bungalow, one of the most popular shows on the CBBC Channel, will simulcast on BBC One while The Saturday Show is placed on hiatus for the autumn.

Top of The Pops Saturday, presented by The Saturday Show's Fearne Cotton, will continue in its usual slot.

CBBC Controller Dorothy Prior explained: "I believe it's important to try new things in the schedule and I'm pleased to announce that Dick & Dom in da Bungalow is coming to BBC One this autumn, giving all young viewers a chance to enjoy the unique talent of two of CBBC's rising stars.

"I've been really delighted with the success of The Saturday Show which will be on air until early autumn, returning in the spring.

"Fearne (Cotton) remains a key part of CBBC's weekend line-up presenting Top of Pops Saturday and Smile throughout the autumn."

The future of CBBC's Simon Grant, who hosts The Saturday Show alongside Cotton, also seems secure; in addition to the above announcements, the BBC also confirmed Grant would continue presenting on CBBC through the autumn.
