BBC Two's afternoon news bulletin is to move to BBC One next Monday, the Corporation announced today.

The move of the national and regional news update, which airs weekdays at 3.20pm, completes the transfer of all English regional programming onto BBC One

The decision to shift all English regional programming away from BBC Two was taken so that digital satellite viewers would be able to view all programming for their region.
