Fame Academy winner David Sneddon is turning TV presenter to stand in for Simon Grant on The Saturday Show.
The 24-year-old will front the BBC kids' show for two weeks alongside regular co-host Fearne Cotton whilst Grant is away on holiday, the corporation said today.
"I just intend to have a laugh and I'm willing to do anything," said Sneddon. "Come Saturday morning, I'm going to be nervous. I'm really looking forward to it though, it's not something I ever thought I would do. It's live and it's the biggest kids' Saturday show so it's all a bit daunting."
After winning Fame Academy last year, Sneddon went on to have a number one debut single. He releases his latest track, 'Best of Order,' on August 11.
