LivingTV buys 'Love Shack' for September
Published Tuesday, Aug 5 2003, 09:54 BST | By Neil Wilkes
LivingTV has bought US reality show Love Shack, the channel has announced.
The six-part series, which aired on US network NBC last summer, features one single man and one single woman who move into a California mansion with the aim of finding true love.
In the first episode, each of them is introduced to two members of the opposite sex who will live with them in the mansion for the four days that follow. At the end of the four days, each will choose the one mate they'd like to remain in the house, with someone new moving in again the next day. This process continues until the original residents are left with their preferred partner.
Host of the series is Will Kirby, the man whose "honesty about dishonesty" policy led him to win the US version of Big Brother in 2001.
Love Shack begins on LivingTV at 10pm on September 11, airing Thursdays in that timeslot thereafter.
