Gaby Roslin has signed a new exclusive contract with the BBC, keeping her with the corporation for a further two years.

As part of the deal, she has been lined up to present The People's Awards with Michael Buerk in October, co-host the Children In Need Appeal, front a new series of Watchdog Healthcheck and Eastenders Revealed, and present BBC coverage of the Crufts Dog Show.

Roslin, 35, said, "I'm thrilled the BBC has put faith in me for another two years so I can continue doing a job I love, working on a portfolio of shows that reflect my own varied interests."

Danielle Lux, BBC entertainment commissioner, said, "I am delighted we are continuing our relationship with Gaby who has worked on so many key shows for us."
