The first series for the new venture will be a seven-part run of Cookalong Live, a one-off special of which screened in January, to air on Channel 4 in the autumn.
Ramsay remains tied to C4 in the UK but will now develop all projects through OPTP, which is a joint venture with existing indie Optomen Television.
The famously foul-mouthed chef has worked with Optomen on series including Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares in the UK and US since 2004.
"Optomen takes my passionate and perfectionist approach to cooking and restaurants and applies it to television so we’re a great fit," he said in a statement.
"I’m very excited about the prospects for One Potato Two Potato."
