Big Brother 3 winner Kate Lawler has been signed up to front a new, revamped version of Top of the Pops.
According to the Star on Sunday today, Kate - who has gone on to front C4 breakfast show RI:SE since scooping the top prize in last year's edition of the gameshow - will become the programme's main presenter from October this year.
She was lured to BBC One in a deal worth an estimated £100,000 a year by new TOTP producer Andi Peters, whom Kate presents a radio show with on Capital FM each Sunday.
A BBC source told the newspaper: "Andy realises how popular Kate is and has said she's the one to kick-start TOTP's comeback. She can't wait to give it a crack."
