Ratings 'Burn Up' for BBC Two

The concluding half of the show - starring Rupert Penry-Jones, Neve Campbell and Bradley Whitford - drew 1.56m (7.7%) between 9pm and 10.30pm, fourth place for the time period. The first episode drew 2.4m (11.5%) in the same timeslot last Wednesday.
ITV1's A Touch Of Frost managed a decent 4.31m (21.9%) between 9pm and 11pm, comfortably winning the slot.
On Channel 4, the Big Brother eviction show drew 3.65m (17.6%) in the 9pm hour. The eviction interview show averaged 3m (17.9%) between 10.35pm and 11pm. Sandwiched between Big Brother, new comedy series The Kevin Bishop Show made a decent start with 2.11m (10.8%).
The final of Celebrity Masterchef - won by former Atomic Kitten star Liz McLarnon - brought in a healthy 4.89m (23.4%) to BBC One from 8.30pm. In the 9pm hour, comedy pairing Would I Lie To You? and The Two Ronnies Sketchbook averaged 3.08m (14.8%) and 2.54m (12.2%) respectively.
Five had another lacklustre night, beginning with a disappointing 742,000 (3.7%) for revived format Superstars in the 8pm hour. At 9pm, an NCIS repeat delievered 1.12m (5.4%).
Coronation Street won the battle of the soaps, with averages of 7.78m (43.9%) and 6.98m (33.3%) for its 7.30pm and 8.30pm episodes respectively. EastEnders brought in 6.99m (36.7%) for BBC One and Emmerdale had 5.66m (34.9%).
Among the multichannels, BBC Three's EastEnders repeat was the most-watched show of the day with an average of 580,000 (3.4%) at 10pm. E4 had the highest multichannel share with an average of 1.7% across the day and a further 0.6% share for E4+1.
