BBC Three chases Lilley's 'Heroes'
Published Friday, Aug 1 2008, 09:38 BST | By Simon Reynolds

The six-part comedy, devised by Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley before his spoof school documentary, originally aired down under in 2005. The programme premiered in the UK on FX back in January 2006 under a different title, The Nominees.
It centres on five people who have been nominated for the Australian of the Year award, including a teen who has donated an eardrum for transplant and Summer Heights character Ja'mie King.
Lilley portrays all five of the main characters on We Can Be Heroes.
Summer Heights High recently finished its first series run on BBC Three.
