Creative Director of new FX channel named

Mark Brooks will be the Creative Director of Fox International's new FX channel, it was confirmed to Digital Spy on Thursday.
Brooks said:
"After spending most of my career as a freelance producer/director, it took a lot to lure me to a ‘day job’. However, after meeting with Jason [Thorp] and the team, I was convinced that the FX UK is going to be one of the most exciting new projects in television."
Brooks has worked with a number of broadcasters, including Telewest content division Flextech, Universal Studio Networks and Trans World International.
Jason Thorp, Vice President of Broadcasting and Marketing at FX UK, said:
"I am thrilled that we have appointed someone of Mark’s calibre to this vital position. His skills and experience in broadcasting will be vital for the creative identity and direction of the new FX UK channel."
