Louisa Lytton and Vincent Simone will represent the UK at this year's Eurovision Dance Contest.

The pair were partners on the fourth series of the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and will reunite for the contest, now in its second year, when it heads to Glasgow next month.

Lytton, who stars in The Bill, and Simone will attempt a fusion of Latin and Ballroom dancing in a freestyle performance.

The contest will feature dancing couples from 15 European countries and give viewers the opportunity to vote for the winner. The judging panel includes Strictly Come Dancing duo Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood.

Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman return to present the show, which will be screened on BBC One from the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre on September 6.
