The All New Top of the Pops will begin in one month, the BBC have announced.
The revamped show - masterminded by new executive producer Andi Peters - will broadcast live each Friday from a new set at the BBC Television Centre in London.
Other changes include a new theme tune, logo and presenting team, rumoured to include Capital Radio's Margherita Taylor.
The BBC said that the new show, which will launch with a one-hour special, would continue to be "chart led" but would also offer a "behind-the-scenes look at the music industry."
Ratings for the long-running programme have halved in recent years to just 2 million.
