Sci Fi picks up legal drama 'Eli Stone'
Published Thursday, Aug 21 2008, 11:17 BST | By Neil Wilkes

The show - from Brothers & Sisters creator Greg Berlanti - follows Stone, an ambitious lawyer who suffers from bizarre predictive hallucinations. The visions are normally accompanied by the song lyrics of George Michael, who makes frequent guest appearances throughout the series. Alias star Victor Garber is also on the cast.
"It's a real coup to bring Eli Stone, and George Michael's first ever drama performance, to the UK," said Jon Farrar, Sci Fi's programming director. "We're especially thrilled that it's such an inventive and uplifting fantasy that fits in so perfectly with our channel brand."
The channel has picked up the rights to the first two seasons and plans to premiere the show this Autumn. Season two begins in October on ABC in the US.
