'Mile High' to return in February
Published Friday, Dec 19 2003, 17:44 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Sky One's original cabin crew drama Mile High will begin its second series on February 22, it has been confirmed.
Jason (James Redmond) will not be back in the new batch of episodes, but Lehann (Naomi Ryan), Will (Adam Sinclair) and Marco (Tom Wisdom) will all be returning to Fresh.
They will be joined by three new recruits to the airline: Jack (John Pickard), the cheeky chappie always after a quick buck to boost his meagre salary, but a softie at heart; sweet, sensitive and brainy Poppy (Stacey Cadman), Jack’s baby sister who joins Fresh! by default because of her crush on Marco and struggles to stay on the right side of senior purser Janis; and Charlotte (Sarah Farooqui), Poppy’s partner in crime. Charlotte is wild and sexy, a go-getter who’s not afraid to take chances and quickly ends up in Janis’s bad books.
The programme has been one of Sky One's most successful original productions to date; as well as acclaim in the UK, the show has also been a big hit in Australia.
