Slow start for 'SM:tv' replacement

The Carlton-made programme - broadcast between 9.25am and 11.30am - averaged just 500,000 viewers and a 9.8% audience share.
The BBC's Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow, meanwhile, had almost double the figures with an average of 900,000 and a 16.0% share.
An ITV spokeswoman told Broadcast that it would take time for viewers to get acquainted with the new show.
"A programme like The Ministry of Mayhem takes time to establish itself and build an audience," said the spokeswoman. "Viewers needs to get to know the presenters and the format and this obviously takes time - SMTV reached the peak of its success eighteen months into its transmission. Holly, Michael and Stephen have great chemistry on screen and we have every confidence in the show."
