Edmonds calls for UK immigration ban

"I’m very straightforward on immigration. The bus is full," he told The News Of The World.
The Deal Or No Deal host explained: "We haven’t got enough energy, we haven't got enough electricity, we haven’t got enough of a health service."
Edmonds insisted his views are not racist, adding that his fears centre on a looming energy crisis.
"Please be clear. I do not have an agenda that involves where people come from, the colour of their skin or what their religion is. But it is a fact that there is a finite number of people who can fit into a lift. This is an island and we have a situation now where we are going to run out of energy," he said.
The presenter gave his views in the run-up to last night's airing of his new political programme Noel’s HQ. The show looks at what is wrong in today's Britain and tries to find solutions.
Edmonds said he does not trust Gordon Brown or David Cameron to make the correct changes, and also insists there is a need for more prisons and an overhaul of the police force.
