'Secret Millionaire' ends on 3.3m
The current series of The Secret Millionaire came to a close on Tuesday night with an impressive 3.34m (15.4%).

The third series of the show, which sees undercover millionaires donating money to the deprived, has averaged 3.77m (16.7%) across its eight-week run. The figure is well up on the average slot share of 9.9%.

Channel 4 led the 9pm hour, ahead of BBC One's Mutual Friends, which took 3.16m (14.5%), and ITV1 profile special Leslie Ash: Face To Face, which had 2.77m (12.8%). BBC Two's new two-part series Losing It: Griff Rhys Jones On Anger, following the angry comedian on a journey to calm down, started with 1.4m (6.4%). Five had a decent 2.48m (11.4%) for CSI: Miami.

BBC One ruled the 8pm hour, pulling in 5.44m (24.8%) for Holby City, while ITV1's 'Firefighters Special' of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? had 3.83m (17.5%). Channel 4's The Sex Education Show appealed to 1.88m (8.6%) and Five's Trial Of The Knights Templar documentary interested 1.59m (7.3%). BBC Two was again last place, logging 1.3m (5.9%) for a repeat of Tiger: Spy in the Jungle.

An hour-long Emmerdale was the most-watched show of the day with 6.09m (31.2%), again out-performing EastEnders, which was knocked down to 5.9m (29.1%) at 7.30pm. The later BBC Three repeat picked up a hefty 942,000 (5.8%), however.

Update show The Secret Millionaire Changed My Life put in 2.43m (14.7%) in the 10pm hour, while on Five, CSI: New York managed 1.63m (9.7%).

ITV2's CelebAir had another poor performance, with just 163,000 (0.9%) tuning in for the latest instalment at 9pm. The figure is down almost 75,000 on last week and significantly down on the 549,000 (2.8%) who watched the launch show three weeks ago.

BBC Three won the 9pm hour among the multichannels with 439,000 (2.3%) for wedding-themed reality show Don't Tell The Bride. Film4's Harrison Ford thriller Clear and Present Danger brought in 392,000 (2.6%) between 9pm and 11.40pm, while on Living, Ghost Whisperer was seen by 375,000 (2%).
