Kai Laddiman made a dream come true when he appeared on the Channel 4 quiz show, which he has watched since the age of two, reports the Daily Mail.
The youngster auditioned for the show in January and was joined by his mother while filming with hosts Carol Vorderman and Des O'Connor in Leeds.
Laddiman, from Broad Oak, East Sussex, eventually beat opponent James Bruce.
"Although everyone else was older, I wasn't nervous at all. I got an extra cushion to prop me up on the chair so the cameras could see me over the desk. It made the seat a lot more comfortable so I wasn't complaining," he said.
O'Connor said the youngster was a "delight to meet", adding: "Kai said he’s been watching the show since he was two years old and learnt his alphabet from it."
