Rupert Everett to play Lord Byron
Published Wednesday, Oct 8 2008, 21:58 BST | By Michael Thornton

The Channel 4 programme will examine Byron's relationship with Albania, 200 years after he first journeyed there.
Production assistant Auron Tare remarked that the actor has developed an understanding of the role after spending five days travelling by mule in Albania.
He said: "Everett understood why Lord Byron had come to Albania, where he said he found 'a Scotland with mosques' because of the similarity of nature, steep mountains, folk costumes and people's character."
