Reality mogul Mark Burnett has already announced the show's return in the US, while it is being aired in Australia and is in production in the Netherlands.
France, Germany and Italy have also signed up for the programme, which sees celebrity guests reunited with people from their past.
The show first aired on the BBC in 1955 and ran for nine years. ITV then revived the programme in 1969, where it ran until 1994, before moving back to the BBC. The show was axed again in 2003 but returned for a series of one-off specials on ITV last year.
