Ting Tings: "Bring back TOTP"

The Ting Tings have called for a return of the long-running music programme Top Of The Pops.

Jules De Martino told Absolute Radio that the band would love to appear on the show should a revival happen, reports The Press Association.

The drummer and guitarist said: "We'll force our way on it. Bring back TOTP and let us be the first band to play it."

The BBC1 show bowed out in July, 2006, in a finale hosted by Jimmy Saville, Tony Blackburn and Mike Reid.
