The BBC has unveiled a new show designed to make the selection of the UK's Eurovision entry more compelling.
Terry Wogan will present a new primetime live show titled Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up in which six acts - Enrap-ture, Haifa, James Fox, Hyrise, Madison Taylor and Haydon - will compete to represent the UK at Eurovision in May.
Eurovision-style points voting will be brought in to assist the selection, with spokespeople from seven regional areas reporting points from their area, along with a combined SMS/interactive vote.
Bea Ballard, creative head of entertainment events at the BBC, said:
"We know what we can achieve as a nation when we pull together so let's get behind our performers, pick the right one and give them the best chance of winning."
Coverage will also be carried on BBC Three.
