Sci-Fi greenlights 'Battlestar' series

Sci-Fi has green-lighted Battlestar Galactica for a full series after a mini-series "event" in December proved to be successful.
The series will consist of 13 hour-long episodes of the sow, which is described as an "edgy re-imagining" of the original 1978 series. It will be produced for Sci-Fi in association with Sky One.
