'Trial And Retribution' returns to ITV1
ITV1 has commissioned three new instalments of Lynda La Plante's Trial And Retribution.

The broadcaster confirmed that David Hayman, Victoria Smurfit and Dorian Lough will return to the police procedural drama for three two-part 60-minute films titled 'Siren', 'Ghost Train' and 'Shooter'.

'Siren', guest starring St Trinians' Tamsin Egerton, revolves around a socialite who survives a road rage accident.

The Fixer's Aleksander Mikic guests in 'Ghost Train', which sees a girl killed after falling from a fairground ride.

The third new episode, 'Shooter', takes place in the world of organised crime as DS Satchell (Lough) comes under threat from gangster Lenny Bilkin.

La Plante and Jolyon Symonds (Hustle) will produce the dramas.
