6 million turn out for the Brits
Around 6 million viewers tuned in to see The Darkness rule the roost at the Brit Awards last night.

Overnight ratings figures show that an average of 6 million - a 25.4% share of the available audience - tuned in for the two-hour show on ITV1.

The figure is down on the 7.3 million (29.4%) who watched last year in the same slot.

Elsewhere, Five's Back to Reality held onto it's 700,000 viewers from Monday, a figure which rose to 900,000 and a 9.5% share for its 11pm highlight show.

On BBC Three, Live At Johnny's maintained 30,000 (0.1%) at 8pm while Sky One's Nip/Tuck returned to form at 10pm with 729,600 (6.94%).
