Matt Willis: 'I hated doing the Baftas'

Matt Willis has admitted that he "hated" presenting TV coverage of the Baftas for E! Entertainment earlier this year.

The former Busted singer reported live from the red carpet alongside his wife Emma Griffiths at the ceremony in February.

"I hated doing the Baftas more than anything I've ever hated in my life," Willis explained. "It was going out to 140 million people on E!, which is quite nerve-wracking and that whole situation is so not me.

"Emma's fantastic at it, but I'm not the sort of person who's supposed to go around asking: 'What are you wearing?' and stuff like that. It isn't what I want to be doing for good. I've put music on the back burner for a while, but I'm getting all itchy again."

In the meantime, Willis and Griffiths have been asked to present ITV2's I'm A Celebrity coverage for a second year when the new series begins this weekend.

"I was so nervous about it last year. It was a big thing for me to do live TV every night, but it was great," he added. "One of those things you get better and better at as it goes on."
