Fiona Phillips's replacement on the GMTV sofa has been confirmed as Sky News presenter Emma Crosby.
The business reporter has landed a six-figure deal to anchor the ITV morning show, according to the Daily Mail. Phillips announced her departure from GMTV in August, saying it was the "hardest decision" she had ever made.
Crosby, 31, said in a statement that she was "absolutely thrilled". "I am very excited to be joining Britain's leading breakfast programme and working alongside Kate Garraway, who is a great talent," she said.
GMTV editor Martin Frizell said Crosby will "share front line presenting duties" with Garraway. "Together they will make up the best live presenting team in morning television," he said.
Phillips will leave the show after 15 years just before Christmas, with Crosby expected to take over in the New Year.
